10 Session Sauna Pass

Immerse yourself regularly in a deeply rejuvenating 45-minute sauna session at Island Alive. Set beneath towering native pines, our traditional barrel steam sauna offers a unique connection to the natural rhythms of Kangaroo Island. As you ladle pure rainwater over hot rocks, the temperature can rise to a therapeutic 90°C, filling the sauna with cleansing steam and inviting deep relaxation. The intensity of heat is completely under your control.

Step outside into the fresh forest air to cool off under the invigorating outdoor rainwater shower—an essential element of contrast therapy that awakens the senses and revitalises the body. Optional ice bath available - please inquire after booking.
Move between the heat and the cold as many times as you like, promoting circulation, reducing stress, and enhancing your overall wellbeing.

With exclusive access to the sauna deck, take time to stretch out, watch kangaroos hop by, and breathe in the stillness of this secluded corner of Kangaroo Island. Guests are also welcome to use the on-site kitchen and rustic rainwater tank bathroom, handcrafted using repurposed materials and designed with a low environmental footprint in mind.
